Happy holidays!
The main reason Santa is so jolly is because he knows where all the bad girls live.
  1. Questions for Jason of Overly Attached Andy
  2. Have you ever gone on a blind date that’s gone horribly wrong?
  3. I’ve never gone on a blind date, actually. No one seems to want to set me up with their friends. I go on lots of INTERNET dates though, those are a little different because you get to know the person before you even see them. My parents met on a blind date, though. In fact, my dad was the backup blind date, the original guy backed out and my dad’s friend got him to go. Their first date was actually to a gay bar called M’Lady’s Pub.
  4. How is making a webseries, or acting in a webseries, different than other projects you have worked on?
  5. I love working on webseries! It’s super quick production, so it’s something I can do on the weekend or the odd vacation day. I have a fulltime job writing web videos, so being able to just show up when Leena wants me and embellish work she’s already put so much time and thought into is wonderful.
  6. What’s a crazy or ridiculous role that you would like to play?
  7. I’ve always wanted to be the goofy adult on a kids’ show. The kind who always gets into mishaps, like a crazy bumbling inventor or something. Or the guy in the infomercial who can’t figure out a simple kitchen product. HOW DO YOU USE THIS TOASTER?!
  8. Why did you decide to get into comedy acting?
  9. I’ve always wanted to be a comedian. When I was in first grade I actually wrote “standup comedian” next to what I wanted to be on a worksheet we were doing. I have no idea how I knew what a standup comedian was, but somehow I knew. By the time I hit high school and college it was all about improv. Then after years of standup and some hip hop I decided I live in LA and it’s time to try entertaining people on a more mass level. Hence the acting.
  10. If you had to choose another character in Overly Attached Andy that you wish you could play who would it be?
  11. I mean, Andy obviously. He’s the lead man and in every episode!
  12. How far would you go for the sake of comedy?
  13. Well, I was named a Sign of the Apocalypse by Sports Illustrated for eating my beard after losing a bet. So…pretty far, I’d say.

  1. Questions for Taryn of Overly Attached Andy
  2. Have you ever gone on a blind date that’s gone horribly wrong?
  3. Thankfully, I’ve never been on a blind date…I’m not sure I could handle it. I’ve heard tons of success stories, but I’m a chronic worrier so I’m pretty sure I might have a panic attack considering all the possible “what if’s” of going on a date with an absolute stranger.
  4. How is making a webseries, or acting in a webseries, different than other projects you have worked on?
  5. Working on a web series has been such an adventure, Leena allows us to really be ourselves and have some creative freedom. Everything is super fast paced, both filming and post production, so there isn’t much time to overthink things!
  6. What’s a crazy or ridiculous role that you would like to play?
  7. I’ve always wanted to play a full fledged bad girl, like a rouge CIA agent or evil super villain. Something that requires me to learn martial arts and drive a motorcycle.
  8. Why did you decide to get into comedy acting?
  9. Honestly, it was kind of an accident! I’ve never really considered myself a “funny” person, but Leena saw it in me. Being around this amazing cast I’ve learned that the best comedy comes across when you own up to your weirdness.
  10. If you had to choose another character in Overly Attached Andy that you wish you could play who would it be?
  11. Andy for sure. Sometimes I think I can be a bit of an Overly Attached Taryn, as hard as it is to admit.
  12. How far would you go for the sake of comedy?
  13. To me, the best comedy makes people feel good. I’m not looking to be cruel or controversial, I think people have to deal with that enough on an everyday basis.
Have no fear of perfection - you’ll never reach it.
